01 · Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Tradephex LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Platform.

We value your privacy. We collect only what is necessary to provide our services and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

02 · Information We Collect

Account Information: name, email address, password (hashed), country, and time zone.

Trading Activity: trades placed on the Platform, account balances, evaluation status, and journal entries.

Payment Information: processed by Stripe; we never store full card numbers. We retain only Stripe customer IDs and payment metadata.

Tax Information: for funded traders, we collect Form W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (foreign) data as required by IRS regulations.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device fingerprint, and Platform usage logs.

03 · How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain Platform access
• To process payments and payouts
• To enforce evaluation rules
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, or material changes
• To comply with legal obligations (1099 reporting, fraud prevention)
• To improve the Platform through aggregated analytics

04 · Sharing of Information

We share your information only with:

• Stripe for payment processing
• Supabase for authentication and database hosting
• Resend for transactional email delivery
• Vercel for application hosting
• Government authorities when legally required (subpoena, IRS reporting, etc.)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

05 · Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, we retain trading records and tax-related data for seven years to satisfy IRS and audit requirements.

You may request deletion of non-required data at any time by contacting support@tradephex.com.

06 · Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of non-required data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

07 · Security

We use industry-standard security practices: TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is one-hundred-percent secure, but we treat your data as carefully as we treat our own.

08 · Cookies & Tracking

We use minimal first-party cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. Disabling cookies may break Platform functionality.

09 · Children

The Platform is not directed to individuals under eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Contact us immediately if you believe a minor has used the Platform.

10 · Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notice. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
